OPENING NIGHT PROGRAM: SEARCHING FOR ASIAN AMERICA
We're pleased to present an encore screening of
NAATA's SEARCHING FOR ASIAN AMERICA.
But first, our festival begins with former Seattleite
Alice Wu's TRICK OR TREAT, a deft cross-cultural comedy that gently reminds
us of how perplexing our country can be to its newer arrivals (and vice
versa).
*** SPECIAL GUESTS: Producer Don Young of
NAATA and Lela Lee, actor and creator of "Angry Little Asian Girl,"
will attend the screening!
