Seattle International Film Festival celebrates its 30th year with over 300 feature and short films. Be on the lookout for the following Asian American offerings:

* IMELDA, the Marcos documentary by Ramona Diaz
* IN THE REALMS OF THE UNREAL, the portrait of outsider artist Henry Darger by Oscar-winner Jessica Yu
* REVOLUTION, Margaret Cho's latest performance film

* SEATTLE: FREMONT (AKA MONSRUANG) by NWAAFF director Wes Kim

ROBOT STORIES and GREG PAK coming to Seattle
Greg Pak's ROBOT STORIES, last year's closing night feature, comes to Seattle for a one-week theatrical run June 11-17 at the Varsity Theatre in Seattle's University District. Greg himself will attend shows during the opening weekend and will be the guest of honor at a reception sponsored by NWAAFF and the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. SAIGON, USA coming to Seattle
NWAAFF and the Unity of Vietnamese Americans Committee will present the acclaimed documentary SAIGON, USA on June 26. See the calendar page for more details.

WITH HONORS DENIED makes festival rounds
Mimi Gan's WITH HONORS DENIED, one of last year's Audience Award winners, screened at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. It also took the Jury Award for Best Documentary Short at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Bravo, Mimi!

CHEERLEADER wins Student Academy Award
On June 13, Kimberlee Bassford will receive a Student Academy Award for her film CHEERLEADER, one of the featured documentary shorts in last year's Northwest program. Congratulations, Kim!
